Queensland Container Recycling is your Local Containers for Change Refund Point operating depots and bag drop services throughout the South East Qld.
We are on the hunt for a Weekend Site Supervisor to lead our team working in our Loganholme Depot.
The ideal candidate will enjoy work with a variety of duties throughout the day which include physical labour, customer interaction and basic administration.
Must be available Friday to Monday minimum with opportunity for more days if desired. .
Permanent Part-Time Role beginning at 32 hours/week
Must be a local resident who is interested in long term employment.
Position is for immediate start.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Hand sorting of materials and accurately counting customer refunds.
- Input of all customer refunds through POS system.
- Daily management and organisation of up to 6 casual team members.
Maintain a clean and organised site. - Assist customers with enquiries and concerns.
Liaise with the owners of the business and other stakeholders. - Working in a respectful and fast-paced environment.
- Safety awareness and site management.
- Work autonomously and with minimal direction.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Forklift Ticket Essential.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting (up to 20kgs) and repetitive counting of drink containers.
- Ability to work independently and use common sense through your working day.
- Computer literacy, with previous experience in Microsoft Office, POS systems and ability to use apps and web based programs.
- Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
- First Aid Certificate
- The position will be offered as a casual contract for a 3-month probationary period with the opportunity to negotiate a full-time salary at the commencement of this term.

Queensland Container Recycling is an authorised Container Refund Point for the Containers for Change Scheme at Loganholme. We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team and support our Container Collect Program, offering a collection service to our customers.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting wheelie bins from various locations around Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Ipswich, and returning them to our depot for processing.
Responsibilities:
- Collect wheelie bins from various locations and transport them to the depot for processing
- Ensure all collections are completed safely and efficiently
- Drive and navigate through busy streets and unit complexes with confidence
- Maintain a high regard for safety and adhere to Heavy Vehicle National Laws
Availability:
This role is available Monday to Friday and may also include weekend and event pick-ups.
- Unrestricted MR Driver’s Licence with a safe driving record (a police history check and driving history check may be required)
- Current Forklift License (bonus)
- Physically fit, with the ability to perform manual lifting and be active on your feet
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Keen attention to detail, with the ability to spot opportunities to help customers and identify potential WHS issues
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Ability to closely liaise with the logistics program and GPS tracking
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment for our team and customers
